This drop dead beautiful stallion is the son of A Classic Cody, who is from the outstanding line of the athletic “Cody” reiners. The Late Great Hall of Fame Sire Joe Cody, and 5 times Top Ten World Qualifier in reining and Working Cow Horse Corona Cody, is his Great Grandsire and Grandsire.
His dam Smokys Lightning Hot (Buttermilk) was 1999 Virginia AQHA Reining Champion. With a Performance Register of Merit, and 6 performance wins in very limited showing. She has proven herself to be a superior brood mare producing outstanding performance prospects.
With a family tree like that you have a lot to live up to and Cruz is proving to be equal to the task.
